Why did this photo go viral?

This is a brand new investigation you don't want to miss. Last week, I shared a picture of a popular snack that contains a very controversial preservative and it went absolutely viral. It was shared over 140,000 times and seen by 12 million people.

This chemical needs to bite the dust ASAP and is being ingested by children and adults everywhere.

Read and share the post here.

I'm counting on you to get the word out.

Xo,
Vani

P.S. I can't leave without mentioning that this work comes with a lot of resistance and you may be verbally attacked for sharing this message online. Here is what to do if that happens! I love every single one of you who stands up with me in this fight for safer food. You are truly incredible and a force to be reckoned with!

Almost Sold Out! Yikes.

Happy Friday!

2 quick things before you start your weekend… First, I'm so glad that so many of you took advantage of this incredible deal for Nutiva's new organic protein powder, hazelnut spread and coconut oil that expires tonight at 8pm EST. It's truly a one-time offer at over 50% savings. Every bundle you get supports us here at Food Babe – so thank you!

Secondly, after I sent my email yesterday discussing some protein powders I would never buy, I got a ton of questions about some specific brands – like Isagenix, Shakelology, Arbonne and more. Last night I published a new blog post discussing details about those and others. This is critical reading if you are buying these protein powders (or others) that you eat on a regular basis.

Let's face it. Protein powders and supplements are one of the most expensive things you can buy at the health food store. They better have the best ingredients, or what's the point?!

And before I go, I should mention that the bundles are almost sold out. Once they are gone, they are gone. So if you are interested in trying these new products out, get them quick.

Get all of this for only $39.99 with FREE shipping (while supplies last) USA residents only:

This bundle is worth over $80, so it's like getting two products for free.

  • One 21.6oz jar Vanilla OR Chocolate Organic Plant Protein Superfood 30 Shake
  • One 13oz. jar Organic Classic Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
  • One 29oz. jar Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

Pick up this exclusive deal from Nutiva here - there is no coupon code necessary, but hurry, it expires at 8pm EST.

Have a great weekend!

Xo,
Vani

P.S. One last note about the flavors – many of you have asked me if I like the vanilla or the chocolate shake better. I am more of a vanilla girl and Mr. Food Babe loves chocolate – both are really great. Don't be scared to try both, feel free to get one bundle of each flavor for different types of smoothies.

Is Your Protein Shake Safe? (Please read before tomorrow!)

I get a lot of questions about protein shakes and powders. Many of you want to know if I drink them, which brands I recommend, what types of protein are the best, which ones to avoid…etc.

The truth is that most protein powders on the market are filled with highly processed denatured proteins, preservatives, GMOs, and tons of additives. Many are so expensive but also at the same time can be some of the lowest quality foods you can buy!

Let me give you an example of a protein shake that I would NEVER buy...

EAS Soy Protein Powder: Soy Protein Isolate, Fructose, Cocoa Powder (Processed with Alkali), Natural & Artificial Flavor, and Soy Lecithin.

This protein powder is not certified organic or non-GMO project verified – so it can contain GMO ingredients. The soy likely comes from "Roundup Ready" soybeans (a GMO) that is engineered to be doused with Monsanto's herbicide glyphosate. The World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer deemed glyphosate "probably carcinogenic" – This is definitely not something you should be supplementing your diet with!

Besides being GMO, I avoid soy protein because when soy is isolated to just its protein state it becomes denatured and can cause hormonal disruptions. It also endures an extreme amount of chemical processing to become "isolated" - so it is not what I consider real food.

Here's another popular one I wouldn't buy...

IsoPure Zero Carb Protein (Vanilla): Ion Exchange Whey [Milk] Protein Isolate, Microfiltered Whey [Milk] Protein Isolate, Vitamin/Mineral/Amino Acid Blend, (Taurine, Potassium [As Potassium Chloride], Chloride [As Potassium And Sodium Chloride], Calcium [As Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate], Phosphorus [As Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate], L-Glutamine, Magnesium [As Magnesium Oxide], Vitamin C [As Ascorbic Acid], Vitamin E [As DL-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate], Niacin, Zinc [As Zinc Sulfate Dihydrate], Vitamin A [As Palmitate], Pantothenic Acid [As D-Calcium Pantothenate], Vitamin B6 [As Pyridoxine Hydrochloride], Copper [As Amino Acid Chelate], Manganese [As Manganese Sulfate Dihydrate], Riboflavin, Thiamin [As Thiamin Hydrochloride], Folic Acid, Biotin, Iodide [As Potassium Iodide], Chromium [As Amino Acid Chelate], Vitamin K, Molybdenum [As Amino Acid Chelate], Selenium [As Amino Acid Chelate], Vitamin B12), Soy Lecithin, Natural And Artificial Flavors, Xanthan Gum, Sucralose.

This artificially flavored protein powder is made from whey protein that is not certified organic, so it likely comes from cows that were raised on GMOs, growth hormones, antibiotics and other drugs. It also contains the artificial sweetener sucralose (Splenda) which is strongly linked to leukemia. The Center for Science in the Public Interest says sucralose is not safe and should be avoided.

This next protein powder seems pretty clean, but I still wouldn't buy it…

Vega One Nutritional Shake (French Vanilla): Pea protein, whole flaxseed (micro-milled), organic acacia gum (naturally occurring fiber), hemp protein, SaviSeedTM (sacha inchi) protein, organic gelatinized maca root, organic broccoli, inulin (from chicory root), organic spirulina, organic kale, organic marine algae calcium, fruit & vegetable blend (spinach, broccoli, carrot, beet, tomato, apple, cranberry, orange, blueberry and/or bilberry, strawberry, shiitake mushroom), chlorella vulgaris (cracked whole cell), papaya extract, probiotics (bacillus coagulans [provides 1 billion cfu/serving]), antioxidant fruit blend (grape seed extract, organic pomegranate, açai, mangosteen, organic goji, organic maqui), Contains 2 percent or less of: natural vanilla flavor, natural caramel flavor, stevia extract, citric acid.

This shake is not certified organic, including the first two ingredients, which means that they may have been treated with synthetic pesticides. Roundup is also used as a desiccant (drying agent) on some non-organic peas and flaxseed crops. Since I try to avoid these chemicals, I choose certified organic foods whenever possible! This powder is also sweetened with stevia extract (instead of whole stevia leaf), which goes through a chemical-laden process.

You can still supplement with protein and avoid heavily processed protein powders like these!

I typically prefer to make protein smoothies from scratch with real nutrient-dense foods - but this is not always the most convenient option. I realize there are times when you just need to whip up a quick protein shake and run out the door or want something while traveling - without worrying about poisoning yourself with unnecessary chemicals!

That's what I love about Nutiva's brand new protein powder: Organic Plant Protein Superfood 30 Shake.

Nutiva's shake is made from certified organic whole food plant proteins - no processed whey or isolated soy and contains 20 grams of protein per serving! This shake is a blend of organic pea, pumpkin, sunflower, chia, hemp and sacha inchi proteins, along with 30 superfoods including reishi mushroom, baobab, moringa, kale, hawthorn berry, purple corn, sea buckthorn, kelp and cinnamon.

It also tastes amazing, despite having no fake flavors, nasty chemical additives, and only 2g of natural occuring sugar per serving.

I really want you to be able to try this without breaking the bank. Since Nutiva is one of my favorite organic brands and a long-time Food Babe partner, I worked with them to create an inexpensive bundle that includes this protein powder.

Get a bundle that includes THREE of my favorite Nutiva products for $39.99 if you visit them here within the next 24 hours! This also includes FREE SHIPPING!

  • One 21.6oz jar Vanilla OR Chocolate Organic Plant Protein Superfood 30 Shake
  • One 13oz. jar Organic Classic Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
  • One 29oz. jar Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

This bundle is worth over $80, so it's like getting two products for free!

When I posted a picture of Nutiva's new Chocolate Hazelnut Spread on my Instagram page recently, so many of you were excited and couldn't wait to pick up a jar! Now's your chance to get it basically free! This is a healthier replacement for Nutella - with 40% less sugar and made with all sustainable and organic ingredients. It's organic and delicious with fresh strawberries!

I use Nutiva's Organic Virgin Coconut Oil in my kitchen all the time for baking and sautéing vegetables, so this is one staple that I always keep well stocked in my house. It also makes a great natural moisturizer!

I know that you'll love all three of these products.

The founder of Nutiva, John Roulac, is a great friend and mentor of mine. He is also an amazing food activist. I'm on board with his mission to create a safer food system and that is why I am thrilled Nutiva supports the work we do here at FoodBabe.com.

To get the special deal on this bundle, please remember this is a 24-hour sale and expires tomorrow Friday, August 26th at 8pm EST/5pm PST!

Pick up your bundle for the special price of $39.99 with free shipping here.

Xo,

Vani

P.S. This savings is so incredible not to share and is for Food Babe & Friends – so feel free to send this deal to anyone you like!

P.P.S. Still confused on protein powders? Remember, if your protein powder is not certified organic, it's not worth putting it in your body - especially on a regular basis. Period.

Favorite Back to School (and Work!) Lunch Supplies

Although I don't have little ones in school (yet), I am appalled that many school districts feed children hot dogs, greasy pizza, and nachos for lunch. How this has even become acceptable is the subject of a future investigation… but in the meantime, take control of this situation by packing lunches!

One of the first commitments I made to my own health was taking homemade lunches to work. Not only was it less expensive to do this, but my health soared as a result. Statistics show that children who eat more food prepared from home are healthier, less obese, and make more nutritious food choices. The simple act of packing a homemade lunch is a big step you can take to protect your child's health!

Now is the time to set yourself up with the proper supplies so that when the first day of school hits, you will be prepared. If you haven't already, make it a resolution this school year to ditch plastic containers and plastic water bottles in favor of safer alternatives.

Not only do plastic baggies and bottles contribute to a huge mountain of trash, but they can have a negative impact on health. Plastics can harbor toxins and estrogen disruptors - and you don't want those chemicals leaching into your food and drinks. Recent data found that stainless steel and glass reusable bottles also harbor less germs than plastic ones (some of which had more germs than a dog bowl). Glass and stainless steel containers are much safer! I got rid of all of my old plastic containers years ago, and have never looked back.

One brand that I personally love and have turned to is U Konserve. Their non-toxic storage containers are sleek, stack easily, and are the perfect size for packing on-the-go foods.

I love them for traveling and divided lunch kits would be PERFECT for packing kids lunches too! You can put sandwiches, sliced fruit and veggies in their own little leak-proof compartments, and then tuck it into one of their lunch totes made from recycled plastic bottles!

I partnered up with U Konserve and they've agreed to offer you 10% off when you use the code "foodbabe" at checkout.

These are some of my favorite products that you can pick up from U Konserve right now:

  • Divided Containers - Leak-proof stainless steel containers with removable dividers. I love these for packing lunches and portioning out appropriate serving sizes for snacks.

  • Food Kozy Wraps - Get rid of plastic baggies for good! These wraps are reusable and are perfect for packing sandwiches, nuts or crackers. They also work great for storing blocks of cheese and leftover cut vegetables in your fridge at home.

  • Glass & Silicone Water Bottles - These are great for packing your own filtered water to bring along anywhere. I personally fill them up before I leave the house. I don't want to depend on buying water in plastic bottles. If you have kids in sports - these are a must-have!

  • Ice-Packs - Instead of grabbing a baggie and filling it with ice, these non-toxic gel packs will keep your lunches cool.

  • Insulated Food Jars - Perfect for packing healthy soups and other hot foods. Also works great for cold items like yogurt and smoothies. Keeps items either cold or hot for hours!

Visit my partner U Konserve here to see all they have to offer - and don't forget to enter the code "foodbabe" at checkout to get your 10% off! There's free shipping for orders over $50 too.

I hope this helps you pack healthy and eco-friendly school lunches for your little ones (and for yourself too!)

Are these “experts” lying to you?

How many times have you heard on the Internet or from an "expert" on TV, there's no such thing as detoxing, there's no "SCIENCE" behind it and "your body cleanses itself"?

If you've questioned the word "detox" like many out there, then you definitely want to read this brand new investigation, and then decide for yourself if what they are leading you to believe is true or not.

This is a very important topic to me and hopefully we can finally put the nail on the coffin of this myth.

Read the investigation here and please spread the word!

I'm counting on you to get the truth out.

Vani

So scandalous!… (must read!)

Yesterday was such a (scandalous!) good day, let me explain…

  • First of all, I am out of that first trimester of pregnancy, so my energy is back. That means more time for investigations and more time to make new recipes and write awesome blogs just for you!
  • I'd like to report, Azodicarbonamide "the yoga mat chemical" that we famously petitioned to get out of Subway's bread is practically history now as most major restaurants and brands have gotten rid of it since our enormously successful campaign in 2014. Bloomberg reported yesterday that everyone from Jack In The Box, McDonald's, White Castle, Chick-fil-A and Wendy's are removing the chemical – as well as pretty much all major bread manufacturers.
  • Last week, I published a blog post "3 Proven Strategies To Quit Soda For Good!" with my best tips for stopping this habit. Almost everyone can agree that soda isn't healthy, yet the American Beverage Association (AmeriBev), an industry group representing Coca-Cola and Pepsi, wants to persuade you to keep drinking soda and took the time to leave a comment on the blog. Read their comment on FoodBabe.com here. What do you think about their comment? Do you believe soda can be part of a "healthy balance" – and that calories and activity balance are key? Are all of the ingredients they use "safe"? Who funds the studies that say that diet drinks help people lose weight? Why do you think they made this comment? I thought I would respond, but then I decided that it was best left to you - the Food Babe Army... Can't wait to read what you have to say! Respond directly to the American Beverage Association by commenting here!
  • In related news… a member of the Food Babe Army sent me a whistle-blowing email alerting me that the Global Director of Policy Development at Coca-Cola is an active member of a Facebook group that trolls our work – people part of this group write defamatory remarks, plot how to "take me down" and throw insults at me daily! Personal attacks like these don't affect me in the least anymore and I have finally accepted that they come with the territory. However, it's important to bring attention to these tactics and derogatory statements planted by the industry in an attempt to discredit our work. The food and chemical industries are paying very close attention to us and monitor every move we make. I see this as further proof that the work we do is legitimate and we are winning!
  • That being said, it's unbelievable what ingredient suppliers will say to keep selling their controversial additives! If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen the screenshot of an email that I sent to Ingredients Solutions, Inc. yesterday. I'm demanding that they remove a libelous statement from their website stating that I have a "vested financial interest" in keeping a growing campaign against the ingredient carrageenan. I've written several times on the blog about the risks of consuming carrageenan (notably here and here) and I have never received any sort of financial benefit in doing so. In fact, the first blog post I wrote about carrageenan was written while I still worked at my corporate job and hadn't made blogging my full time career. Ingredients Solutions is the "world's largest independent supplier of carrageenan"... who do you think holds the real financial interest here?!

I'm a consumer advocate. Supporting public health is my interest above all and it is my mission to give you trustworthy health and food information to make the best decisions for yourself and your families.

It feels really good to continue exposing the truth to all of you. I love you all so much, and without you this work would never be possible.

Godspeed Food Babe Army!

Vani

Closes Tomorrow.

If you need help with sugar in your life - you don't want to miss this program before it closes tomorrow

foodbabe.com

What added sugar does to the body is scandalous...

  • It makes you gain weight by adding empty calories to your diet and jacking up your blood sugar – two processes that form excess body fat. It also screws with your appetite.
  • Excessive sugar makes your skin wrinkle. In a process called glycation, sugar molecules attach to collagen and elastin, two proteins that keep skin looking young, and create Advanced Glycation End products (AGEs). AGEs weaken your skin's support structure and lead to lines and wrinkles.
  • Added sugar can make your blood sugar go sky-high – a reaction followed immediately by plummeting blood sugar. That low blood sugar triggers feelings of irritability and depression.
  • And it dumbs you down by interfering with communication among brain cells. A 2012 Mayo Clinic report found that people who eat a lot of sugar have a much higher chance of cognitive decline as they age.

No one should be adding sugar to your food without your permission - but the food industry and restaurants do it sneakingly ALL THE TIME. One of the best things you can do for your health is to get away from the unnatural presence of added sugar!

Many people have tried to simply stop eating sugar - and have failed.

This is a cycle that's really hard to stop, but breaking free from sugar is soooo worth it because the effect it can have on your life is enormous!

That is why I created a program to help us detox from all of this sugar and I've made it easy, fun, and foolproof!

Get over 50% off the Food Babe 7-Day Sugar Detox Program for a limited-time here - remember it closes tomorrow!

You can start this program anytime you like, once you've signed up, you'll have access to the material online forever.

My team and I are here to support you every step of the way. Let's do this!

Xo,

Vani

P.S. If you've already joined, don't forget to come on over to the forum and introduce yourself, I'm excited to interact with you in this private setting so we can cheer each other on!

"I completed the 7 day detox with my husband, lost 2 pounds and started taking morning walks. I feel much more energized and focused. All the recipes were good and filling. I did not feel hungry. Following the detox, I am focused on eating more fresh vegetables and fruits, and continuing to make variations of the recipes provided for the detox. Thanks Food Babe team for the encouragement and easy to follow instructions.  I recommend that everyone try this detox!" ~ Sheila W.

How to Use Essential Oils for Allergies

Posted: 03 Aug 2016 01:59 PM PDT

Nothing is more frustrating than the unrelenting urge to sneeze, sniffle, and wheeze through a nose plugged up with pollen. Allergies are no fun, but the conventional allergy medications used to treat them can be even worse, often leaving you feeling amped up and groggy all at the same time. But you can find relief without nasty side effects by learning how to use essential oils for allergies.

How to Use Essential Oils

Essential oils are concentrated fragrant oils distilled from natural plant sources and used for aromatherapy and alternative wellness. Essential oils enter the body through two primary avenues, either topically or through inhalation. Ingestion should be avoided in most cases because of potency. Learning how to use essential oils can help you treat a range of ailments more naturally. Application methods include:

1. Diffuser

A diffuser disperses the essential oil by either exposing it to air, heat, or water.

2. Spray

After diluting essential oils in water you can use them in a spray bottle. For example, this lavender magnesium spray is great for relaxation just before bed.

3. Topically

Essential oils applied directly to the skin need to be diluted with a carrier oil (for example, a vegetable or nut oil). The essential oil should have a concentration of no greater than three to five percent. That means in one teaspoon of carrier oil, you would add three drops of pure essential oil. This would make a three percent solution that could be used on a portion of the body. If you're using the oil for massage therapy over the entire body, it should be diluted to one percent.

[Tip: Use an organic and cold pressed carrier oil like almond, grapeseed, jojoba, or avocado oil. It can either be added using a compress or applied directly to the skin through massage.]

5 Scientifically Backed Essential Oils for Allergies

Everything You Need to Know About How to Use Essential Oils for Allergies

Allergies like hay-fever come with a host of symptoms from runny nose to sinus headache, sinus pressure, itchy eyes and throat, and the list goes on. But a number of essential oils may relieve those irritating symptoms. While essential oils do have some side effects, for example, they can be irritating to the skin as well as the mouth, nose, and eyes, they don't cause side effects like allergy medications, which can make you feel amped up, groggy, and dehydrated. Essential oils are also controversial for pregnant women and children. You should talk to your doctor before using them.

Essential oils can be less expensive than over-the-counter or prescription medications when you consider that just a few drops go a long way. A one-ounce bottle of eucalyptus oil costs around $6, but it takes just a few drops added to a diffuser to have an impact on the respiratory system. Compare this to allergy medications like Claritin and Zyrtec, which range in price from around $15 to $40.

Science is behind the curveball when it comes to essential oils, but according to researchers at the University of Maryland Medical Center, some experts believe that olfactory smell receptors in the brain communicate to other parts of the brain like the amygdala and hippocampus, influencing physical, emotional, and mental health.

Add a few drops of essential oil to a diffuser to open up the airways and reduce inflammation. These essential oils for allergies are worth trying:
1. Eucalyptus

A study published in April 2010 issue of Alternative Medicine Review found that eucalyptus has antimicrobial effects. It can be used to treat colds and flu by opening the respiratory system and reducing inflammation.

2. Rosemary

Rosemary is slightly more mild than eucalyptus, but it also works to open up inflammation in the sinuses. According to a 2011 Penn State University Medical Center study, rosemary oil also has antimicrobial qualities and can neutralize some pathogens.

3. Clove

Clove oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial characteristics, and can help to reduce allergy symptoms. Research published in an October 2012 issue of the Brazilian Journal of Microbiology found that clove oil can be used as an antimicrobial to kill internal and external pathogens.

4. Lavender

Lavender is a natural antihistamine and anti-inflammatory. It may help reduce irritation and relax your breathing. A study published in the July 2014 issue of the journal Life Sciences, found that lavender essential oil inhalation effectively suppressed inflammation in the airways.

5. Chamomile

Chamomile is another anti-inflammatory that relaxes and relieves sinus headaches. Working with chamomile essential oil months before your hay-fever sets in may boost your immune response and decrease your reaction. One study, published in the November 2010 issue of Molecular Medicine Reports, found that chamomile can be used to treat inflammation of the mucus membranes in the mouth and throat.
When it comes to naturally clearing up your respiratory system, eucalyptus and peppermint oil are both highly effective, according to certified nutrition specialist and natural medicine expert, Dr. Josh Axe. This homemade Vapor Rub by Dr. Axe uses both and helps to open up the airways.

Homemade Vapor Rub

Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup grated beeswax
20 drops peppermint essential oil
20 drops eucalyptus essential oil
Glass Jar

Directions

1. Place olive oil, coconut oil, and beeswax in a jar. Place a saucepan with 2 inches of water over medium low heat. Add jar to saucepan to melt oils.

2. Let cool before adding essential oils. Pour in a jar and allow to set up.

Essential Oil Allergies for Children

Essential oils are potent and even poisonous to children when they haven't been properly diluted. Take precaution when it comes to the little ones. Here are a few tips:
  • Keep essential oils out of reach for children.
  • Never give them to children orally.
  • Always dilute with a carrier oil.
  • Keep them away from a child's nose. Applying diluted essential oils to the feet are often best.
  • Introduce them slowly and watch for any reaction.
  • Avoid use on children less than three months old because of extreme skin sensitivity.
  • Stick to really mild oils for babies like chamomile, dill, and lavender.
  • Talk to your child's pediatrician before use.

Where To Buy Essential Oils

Everything You Need to Know About How to Use Essential Oils for Allergies

Not sure where to buy essential oils? When it comes to choosing essential oils, look for brands that are made purely of the oil and not diluted with fillers like propylene glycol. Bonus if they're wildcrafted and made from organic plants grown in their indigenous locations. Read labels, and if you can't tell from the label, call the company. If it's hard to get a response, choose another company. Mountain Rose Herbs and Plant Therapy are both smaller companies that produce pure, high quality oils.

[Note: Always consult with your primary care physician before using essential oils to treat any type of health concern.]

3 proven strategies to quit soda for good.

We all know someone still drinking soda (that someone might even be you).

I have very close family members that still drink soda. I want them to be the healthiest they can be - but they still drink it. It drives me insane to see them drinking a slurry of controversial chemicals that are linked to uncontrollable cravings, diabetes, and cancer.  My friend Derek used to drink soda too…

"I was so addicted to soft drinks that I drank soda five times a day. I rarely drank anything else. My friends would say, "Just drink water." But replacing soda with water? Impossible! I LOVED soda. My weight climbed to 190 pounds – 40 pounds higher than I should be for my height and frame. I was so fat that my shirts stretched apart at the buttons so far that you could see my BFB (that's short for Big Fat Belly). My ballooning weight was a "smack in the face" that forced me to take action. I knew that the soft drinks were making me fatter. I had to do something…" ~ Derek

This is how Derek felt when he was addicted to soda, and he is not alone. This problem is soooo common.

Have you ever felt like this or know someone like Derek? Do you drink soda too and want help quitting?

P.S. Here's what Lesli had to say after she completed the Food Babe 7-Day Sugar Detox: "My sugar intake was out of control! My worst time of day was from 8PM to 10PM, when I couldn't inhale enough cookies and/or dark chocolate truffles and/or ice cream. Every night I had to have something sweet. Then when I saw the Food Babe's message about the Sugar Detox, I knew that it was time to make another healthy change to my diet. I am extremely proud of myself, and I am beginning to add in some carb and healthy treats, like dates (which really do satisfy my needs for something sugary!)  However, the best part was getting on the scale and finding that I had lost 4 pounds!  I am extremely motivated now, and even started to exercise. All in all, I am trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle and have confidence that I'll be able to continue to eat good foods!" ~ Lesli
